What Insurances are accepted?
We are currently contracted with:
Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, Blue Shield (non Exchange), Healthnet, Santa Barbara Select IPA , Medicare
**We also hold contracts through PTPN and Care Trust that include many additional insurance carriers that are not listed above.
If we are not contracted with your insurance, we are happy to check your Out of Network Benefits as well. We also offer cash pricing.
How to Access Physical Therapy Services
Physician Referral
Many insurances still require a physician referral to utilize physical therapy services. If you have a referral for Physical Therapy from a Physician, you may seek care from any Physical Therapist of your choosing regardless of the practice name on the referral.
Direct Access
The state of CA allows individuals to seek care directly from a Physical Therapist without doctor referral for a period of 45 days or 12 visits, whichever comes first. Some insurance companies do continue to require MD referral to reimburse for Physical Therapy Services however. Our front office can let you know if your insurance requires a referral or not.
